SNACK ATTACK 2.0!
September 3rd, 2008 by IvyUgh, sorry its been so long guys. I know all of our faithful readers have been sitting by the computer, twittling your thumbs, waiting for a SNACK ATTACK update! Due to strep throat and a serious lack of snack, i’ve been slacking… snacking… wrapping…. Bah, enough of these rhymes, onto the snacks!
Well, as i sit at my desk surveying the office snacks, i am throughly shamed that on my desk - alone - are 3 candy wrappers. Yes, 3.
1. Dark Chocolate Raisinets

2. Sour Patch Peach Flavored Candies

3. Orbit White Fruit Sorbet Gum

Ok, ok, enough about me. Lets move along…
Literally at this very moment that I type this, Marni just pulled out an entire container of blueberries. They have been heralded as “Better Than Mac & Cheese!” and “Better Than McDonalds!”
What do YOU think?

Super Sweet Band Alert (Wanna vote?)
August 29th, 2008 by MarniIt’s the Friday before a long holiday weekend, and you know you’re kind of just waiting for 6pm to roll around…so why not check out a really fun band and vote for them so that they have a chance to win LA Weekly’s Virtual Battle of the Bands?
Vote HERE for Southern Oracle (MySpace). Why? Because they rule, the have a song called “Jealous Robot,” and I’ve known their amazing singer since were 13-year-old kids in South Florida.
DD it, DO it, DO it…
SNACK ATTACK!
August 14th, 2008 by IvyWe here at Sneak Attack love to SNACK. For realsies! All day, everyday. All sorts of snacks - some normal snacking food, some a bit more exotic. We even started a snack $$$ jar where we put in leftover change to go towards our snack addiction. So from now on i’d like to make a list of our snack intake. Just prepare yourself for a daily (or more likely weekly…. whatevs…) SNACK ATTACK!!
Ok, so today we had:
1. 2 varieties of Soy Crisps - which may or may not taste like cardboard. The verdict is still out in the office.

2. Chocolate covered almonds BUT they lied on the package and it’s actually PEANUTS. whatever, they’re covered in chocolate and thats all that matters. It could be poop for all i care. Ewwwwwww!

3. Kiwi’s! Lauren brought one in and shared it with me. Fresh. Delish. Exotic.

4. Peaches. They came with lunch from Gourmet Deli and i was coveting Myles’s so badly i needed one of my own. Now his is still sitting there and i want it. Myles, if you’re reading this, i’m still hungry.

And that is all for the snacking today. Though we still have over an hour to go…

Marni, i’m going to call out sick on September 6th.. fyi…
August 14th, 2008 by IvyArtist Mina Karimi is looking to pull together “a large performance art piece that requires 6-8 hundred people recreating the parade scene from Ferris Bueller at the Deitch Art Parade in Soho.” She says she is “recruiting secret agents in the audience of the parade to mimic the extras in the movie as my Ferris float approaches. In order to fully reproduce the spirit of the scene I will need at least 100 agents on each block of the parade to get the Ferris joy-ball rolling.” The event takes place on September 6th, so if you’re down for parading, singing, dancing and/or listening to The Beatles, “Twist and Shout” multiple times–email projectbueller@gmail.com. Seriously though, I feel like i’m taking crazy pills this is so amazing.
David Caruso, Legend?
August 6th, 2008 by ErikI don’t know about you folks, but I never watch any of those CSI shows. Apparently the most popular one is CSI: Miami. Actually, according to the BBC News, it’s the world’s most popular show. That’s saying a lot.
Anyway, I saw something last week; a compilation of the lead’s (David Caruso) one-liners. I must inform you that I grew up on Arnold Schwarzenegger one-liners, so this has a special place for me. But that’s not important.
If you don’t laugh your butt off, you have no heart. NONE. Also, watch for the sunglasses; every time.
What do you think? Does Arnold still hold the title?
Whose nose knows best? You’ll find out.
