Twitter Launches in French
November 20th, 2009 by MarniFinally, I can use the only phrase I know in French:
“Petit à petit l’oiseau fait son nid.”
From Mashable:
“Twitter’s translation project is rolling along rather quickly now. Earlier in the monthTwitter launched in Spanish, and as of today, Twitter is now available in French.”

Old Dog Utilizes New Trick
February 20th, 2009 by ErikSo Presidents of the United States of America has released an iPhone application that streams their music; essentially allowing you access to their entire discography for $3.
They’re not the first people with this idea, either. South Park Studios (producers of South Park, obvs) was recently denied approval for their streaming application, where a user can, for free, watch every single episode of South Park at their own pace. Apple nixed it, supposedly because South Park can be perceived as “potentially insensitive”. (REALITY CHECK: Not only has Apple featured the show in a “Made On a Mac” piece on their web site, but you can buy the entire show on iTunes.)
It does pose an interesting dynamic, though. Yeah, there’s drawbacks (can’t listen to it in the background like the iPod application, you also don’t own any of the music), but it’s certainly one way to get your music out there while still making a buck.
As of this writing, the app has an average rating of 4/5 stars.
Let’s Get This Thing Rolling Again.
February 20th, 2009 by ErikHi all, Erik here from Sneak Attack. I normally work behind the scenes (I run on a hamster wheel to power the web site), but today I have come from the bowels of the tech department to make a first post on the blog.
In fact, after much careful scientific deliberation, involving bunson burners and microscopes, I have decided to contribute regularly to this posting extravaganza. I will probably generally end up posting about things that interest me (funny/interesting nerd stuff), but hopefully presented in a way that won’t make you want to vomit. Expect to see my posts on a nearly weekly basis!
Enough of that though, on to the normal operation of the Official Sneak Attack Media Blog on the Internet™.
