Amy Foster is a Canadian-born songwriter and author living in the Pacific Northwest. The daughter of legendary record producer David Foster, she decided not to pursue a career in music until it found her while she was in London working to get her poetry published.
Foster’s easy, conversational style of lyric writing has lead to numerous collaborations, most notably with singer Michael Bublé (she wrote three number one hits with him.) She has also worked with artists like Andrea Bocelli, Destiny’s Child, Solange Knowles, Eric Benet, Diana Krall and Josh Groban, among others.
Her first novel When Autumn Leaves was published in 2009 and was described by Booklist as a “modern day fairytale.” Foster is set to release her second book, the first of a trilogy, called The Rift Uprising on October 4, 2016 under Harper Voyager.
