Early Winters

Vanishing Act

February 25, 2014

Early Winters began as an informal afternoon of writing between friends that blossomed into an expansive musical partnership.  Based in Los Angeles and Toronto and made up of acclaimed UK singer Carina Round (Puscifer/Tears for Fears), two time Juno nominated/Canadian Folk Awards winner Justin Rutledge, Grammy Nominated/Juno Award Winner L.A. producer/musician Dan Burns and highly acclaimed musician Zac Rae who’s recent work includes My Brightest Diamond,  Lana Del Ray, Damian Rice and Gotye to name but a few. They are a thriving musical partnership without geographical boundaries or limitations, they’re like an old friend, you may live in a different town, but when you hear them, you’re instantly re-connected.

With all four members scattered globally touring and working on other projects, they continued to write songs long distance from all over the world.  The heartfelt beauty of the recordings manage to capture an unprecedented intimacy in the modern age, leaving listeners doubting if the band were ever apart during the process.

Early Winters ‘Vanishing Act’ is out February 25th.
