Acclaimed singer and songwriter Priscilla Ahn returns with a highly-anticipated album entitled This Is Where We Are, out February 25th, 2014 on SQE Music. Written during a trip to the desert, holed up in a hotel room outside Palm Springs, Ahn co-produced TIWWA with Keefus Ciancia (Kimbra, T Bone Burnett). Evolving beyond her guitar based collection and into a new realm of dreamy electro-pop bliss, the album captures the immediacy of her inspiration, with the pair deciding to leave several songs in their original demo form.”For me, this album was about finally finding my voice again as a songwriter and a singer. This Is Where We Are portrays who I am now and another side of myself that I’d never really been able to show in other albums” says Priscilla. The first single from This Is Where We Are, “Diana,” will be unveiled on December 10th along with a special holiday surprise for Ahn’s fans, accessible only through her official website. More information about the album release will be available in the coming weeks.Priscilla Ahn released her first album, A Good Day, in 2008, receiving instant critical praise with single “Dream.” Shortly after, she scored two appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, syncs on hit shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Psych, as well as tours with Ray LaMontagne, Willie Nelson, Amos Lee and more.
