Richmond, VA’s The Ivins create a brand of anthemic alternative rock that’s unique flavor is set to bring rock back to the pop zeitgeist.

Formerly The Jim Ivins Band, brothers Jim and Jack Ivins have spent the last few years opening for the likes of Switchfoot, Rooney, Parachute, Airborne Toxic Event, The Unlikely Candidates, Cute Is What We Aim For, Cracker, Carbon Leaf, Carolina Liar, The Ataris, Mae, The Rocket Summer & He Is We, among others (including inadvertently opening for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis at SXSW 2013). Their music has been featured in multiple episodes of MTV’s The Real World and Big Tips Texas, Oxygen’s Best Ink and has been used by NASCAR and Fox Sports. To bring their music to life, the brothers have associated themselves with top names in the studio such as Grammy Award winners John Seymour (U2, Dave Matthews Band), Michael Rosen (Santana, AFI, Papa Roach) & Michael Congdon (Chris Brown), American Music Award and ASCAP Pop Award winner Bill Leverty (Firehouse), as well as Mark Needham (The Killers, Train, The 1975), Anthony “Rocky” Gallo (John Legend, The xx, Matt and Kim), Mark Santangelo (Neon Trees, The Weeknd, Neil Diamond) and The Early November’s Ace Enders. Says Skope Magazine, “whether it’s rock you crave or pop goodness that you desire, [The Ivins] will satisfy all of your musical needs.”
